This is not an entry level role; You will actively support the individual needs of frail, aged and people with disability who access our Community Care Services. You will be supporting clients aged between 18 – 64 who have complex medical and profound disability to remain living independently at home through the provision of domestic assistance (cleaning), personal care, community access and activities such as (not limited to), shopping, hair dressing, doctors’ appointments, post office and entertainment activities.
This role will service suburbs such as Beenleigh, Regents Park, Kingston and Chambers Flat in the Logan Region as well as Thornlands, Cleveland, Victoria Point and Wynnum in the Bayside Region. You will be required to travel to all locations.
Our core business in this role is domestic assistance. During shifts you will support our clients to do cleaning tasks that they may be unable to do themselves including sweeping, mopping, making the bed and cleaning the bathroom.
The successful incumbent for this position will be required to support multiple clients per day which may require travelling to multiple different locations. Start times can be as early as 6am and end times as late as 6pm. Alternate weekends will also be required.
Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check and Working with Children Check (where relevant to the role).
