About the Role

Based in Hurstville with flexibility to work remotely, this is a newly created Executive Assistant position supporting the Director, Child, Youth & Family NSW/ACT. Alignment to our core values and motivation to succeed in a fast paced and agile environment will be key to your success. You will be comfortable working autonomously with strong communication and organisation skills to ensure no one misses a beat.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inbox management
  • Proactive diary management
  • Coordinate and prepare agendas, minutes and action lists
  • Assist in preparation and collation of documents and reports
  • Arrange intra and interstate travel as required
  • Collaborate with Executive Assistants to other Directors and Executive Directors to deliver the best outcomes for the organisation.

Skills & Experience

  • Demonstrated experience in providing team support and assistance to managers
  • Demonstrated experience in building and managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrated experience managing competing priorities and to deliver high quality outcomes within agreed timeframes
  • Skills in quick decision making and sound judgment, supported by a bias for action and outcomes
  • Well-developed customer-service ethos supported by a friendly and approachable manner
  • Demonstrated written communication skills for the creation of reports, correspondence and other material
  • Ability to manage sensitive information and maintain a high degree of confidentiality
  • Strong verbal communication skills and presentation ability
  • Advanced skills in the use of the Microsoft Office suite of programs
  • Flexibility to meet constantly changing demands

Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check and Working with Children Check where relevant to the role.
