About the role

Due to continued growth, we are currently seeking Disability Support Workers with previous experience to join our Shared & Supported Living team on both a Permanent Part Time & Casual basis in Tamworth.

As a Disability Support worker, you will support and empower clients with a range of disabilities (including high medical, complex needs, dual diagnosis and behaviours of concern) to live independently, access the community and achieve their goals.

Please note:  To be considered for these roles, you must be available and willing to work a varied pattern of shifts across a 24/7 roster (including short shifts, night shifts, weekends and public holidays) due to the support needs of our clients.

Skills & Experience 

• Previous experience within Disability, Aged Care or Community Services 
• NSW Drivers Licence
• Current First Aid Certificate
• Sound computer, written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to adhere to client support plans and complete documentation
• Commitment to providing quality support. customer choice and inclusion

Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check and Working with Children Check (where relevant to the role).
