About the role

We are looking to hire Disability Support Workers, for our clients across Rockhampton. At the Supported independent Living Sites, you will ensure our clients are able to thrive independently and are given choice and control in their daily living activities. The exact assistance you will be required to provide will differ on the support needs of each client, however, we will require your flexibility to work across a 24/7 roster. This includes sleepovers, weekends, and public holidays.

Key Responsibilities

• Day to day care (including personal care) and supervision
• Community Access & Transport
• Maintain & Monitor Person Centred Plans
• Track and document an individual’s progress through thorough record-keeping
• Build and maintain positive relationships with our clients and their families

Skills & Experience

• Unrestricted Australian Drivers Licence
• Certificate III Community Welfare, Disability or similar
• Current Provide First Aid Certificate

Please note: Mandatory COVID-19 vaccinations may be required for this position, in accordance with relevant Public Health Orders across all States and Territories. In these circumstances, evidence of vaccination will be required prior to an offer of employment.

Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check and Working with Children Check (where relevant to the role).

• Hourly rate from $30.46 + super for permanent part time and $38.07 for casual
