About the role

This is a challenging but rewarding opportunity for you to make a positive change in the lives of People with a Disability. Working in a Supported Independent Living Setting, you will assist our clients to achieve their personal goals. You will assist them with personal care, domestic duties and support to enable them to live in their own homes. These shifts operate Monday - Sunday, 24 hours per day. There are both active nights and sleepover shifts. You will need to be available for a range of shifts Monday-Sunday. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Day to day care (including personal care) and supervision
  • Community Access & Transport
  • Maintain & Monitor Person Centred Plans
  • Track and document an individual’s progress through thorough record-keeping
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with our clients and their families

Skills & Experience

  • An unrestricted driver’s licence
  • Current First Aid Certificate
  • Sound computer, written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to adhere to client support plans and complete documentation

Please note: Mandatory COVID-19 vaccinations may be required for this position, in accordance with relevant Public Health Orders across all States and Territories. In these circumstances, evidence of vaccination will be required prior to an offer of employment.

Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check and Working with Children Check (where relevant to the role).
