About the Role

As a dedicated, reliable and person-centred worker, you will support people with disability to live independently, develop and enhance their life skills and achieve their personal goals. Day to day, some of your duties will include partnering with our clients to assist with daily living tasks, personal care, manual handling and accessing the community.

We are seeking new team members within our Lifestyle and Support Independent Living Programs.

  • Supported Independent Living Team – Shifts are across a 24/7 roster working within our shared living homes  
  • Lifestyle & Outreach Team - Shifts are between 6am to 8pm, 7 days a week where you work within our day program facilities and/or community based services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Follow person-centred support plans and behaviour support plans respectfully
  • Participate in community activities and encourage clients to perform daily living tasks
  • Track and document an individual’s progress through thorough record keeping
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with our clients and their families

Skills & Experience

  • An unrestricted New South Wales driver’s licence
  • A current First Aid Certificate and the completion of the NDIS Orientation Module
  • Commitment to working a variety of shifts including weekends
  • Experience supporting people with disability or relevant transferrable skills

Successful candidates will be required to clear the required state based probity checks including a National Criminal History Record Check and NDIS Workers Screening Check.
