We are looking for 3 experienced Disability Support Workers to join our team in Bundoora in this highly sought-after Part-Time opportunity. You will be responsible for providing support with activities of daily living and developing, implementing and monitoring Individual Plan’s.
You will also work to facilitate the delivery of quality services and achieve positive outcomes with clients. This role involves working with clients with various complex medical needs and behaviours which will require the successful applicant to work independently. These roles are ongoing part-time positions.
The house profile: This house is situated in Bundoora, surrounded by parks, cafes, and amenities. Assistance and support are required with meal planning and preparation, domestic chores, and community access. There are 6 residents, all male ranging from ages of 50+. All residents are active and communicate through various methods. They enjoy walks and active days around the home!
In order to be compliant successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including a National Criminal History Record Check and an International Criminal History Record Check; if you have resided for 12 months or more outside of Australia in the last 10 years. A Working with Children Check is also required (where relevant to the role) and a current Victorian Driver's Licence is essential.
