About the role

This is a new role in reporting to the ICT Lead, where you will play a key part in improving outcomes for LWB’s clients using your skills in data and analytics. You will be responsible for development, review and implementation of reporting solutions that provide relevant, detailed insights and advice to Child Youth & Family (CYF) management. This is a 12 month maximum term contract located in either our Newcastle, Melbourne or Sydney offices.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and publish timely reporting that provides high quality information to the CYF management
• Partner with CYF stakeholders to establish business needs
• Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of technology and make recommendations to resolve business issues and pain points and to improve plans, processes and procedures
• Actively contribute to discussions to create, explore, improve and implement ideas, projects and plans, for example Post Implementation Reviews
• Support the business and end users with information and guidance about new features and functionality

Skills & Experience

• Tertiary level qualifications in in a business related discipline
• Demonstrated experience in data collection and analysis in a large and complex/diverse service industry organisation
• Significant experience in engaging business users to quantify issues and/or capture business requirements
• Ability to turn complex data sets and flows into simple user interface designs including storyboards, prototypes and wireframes
• Demonstrated technical skills to design and implement performance reporting information BI systems and database platforms (e.g. PowerBI, Tableau, SQL, Knime)
• The ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders and build effective working relationships with senior management.
• Demonstrated verbal communication skills and presentation ability.

Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check and Working with Children Check (where relevant to the role).
