About the Role

We are currently seeking an Administration Officer to join the Life Without Barriers team in Darwin in a permanent position.

In this role you will Provide administration support, reception relief, and general administration to the regional office of Life Without Barriers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the business unit and in particular to the Manager.
  • Assist State HR in the collation, preparation and processing of timesheets, leave forms and employee documentation as required.
  • Book flights, car hire and accommodation for Life Without Barriers management within Regional office.
  • Schedule appointments, meetings and teleconferences.
  • Undertake data entry, typing, filing, photocopying, binding and faxing of documents as required.
  • Prepare electronic presentations.
  • Coordinate meeting requirements - catering, room, equipment & document preparation.
  • Maintain and update electronic diaries for the Manager. 

Skills & Experience

  • High level administrative skills and experience in providing support and assistance to management.
  • Strong written and oral communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage sensitive information and maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
  • Ability to use initiative in the workplace and demonstrate problem solving skills.
  • Effective time management and organisational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability in using Microsoft Office suite programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Current Driver Licence.

Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check and Working with Children Check (where relevant to the role).
