We are seeking a passionate and committed Registered Nurse to provide innovative and flexible customer focused support.

You will assist the customers with:

  • Developing key lifestyle skills
  • Empowerment and respecting their right to make informed decisions and choices in relation to their health and lifestyle.
  • Administration of medication
  • Achieving their goals through continuity of high quality care and support

As a Registered Nurse you are:

  • Enthusiastic, passionate and positive minded

  • Available for a variety of shifts - Days, Active Nights and Weekends
  • Flexible and reliable within your work environment and thrive as part of a team
  • Hands-on and holistic in your approach
  • Able to identify and manage risk to ensure safety for all
  • Providing continuity of care by taking a long term approach to see the changes and see beyond the medical conditions. See the person
  • A strong communicator with the ability to liaise with a variety of key stakeholders such as Guardians, doctors and allied health professionals
  • Planning ahead with the customers interests at heart, responding to changes and adjusting plans

To be a successful candidate you will clearly demonstrate the following:

  • Confidence and professionalism in your ability to provide customer focused support
  • Ability to be flexible within your work environment and to work as part of a team
  • An interest in supporting customers with high support needs; complex physical, ageing and mental health needs
  • Strong professional boundaries and the ability to follow procedures
  • A high level of written and verbal communication skills
  • A current driver’s licence
  • Availability to work a 7 day roster which will be a combination of shifts including mornings, afternoons, active night shifts, weekends and public holidays
  • AHPRA Registration
  • Knowledge of the Disability Inclusion Act 2014
