What is the opportunity?

We have some exciting opportunities available to join the Better Service Project Team. This is a unique role where you will empower teams through coaching, mentoring and facilitation support, as they transition from a traditional hierarchical structure, into successful and thriving self managed teams! This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of an innovative approach to the way in which we work and the way in which we provide Better Service to our customers.

We currently have a number of opportunities across NSW (Sydney/Newcastle based). You will need to be willing and able to travel if required. This is a full-time (38 hours per week, Monday-Friday) positions offered as fixed-term contract for six month.

You will be responsible for:

  • Facilitating Better Service Workshops
  • Responding to queries about Better Service
  • Supporting teams during meetings and workshops with the change process and to understand Better Service
  • Create Better Service communication, implementation and embedding plans for teams within scope
  • Action the communication, implementation and embedding plans
  • Identify and provide Better Service coaching where required
  • Work with each team to develop an ‘Embed’ plan
  • Work collaboratively to develop a ‘coaching’ toolkit that supports implementation
  • Review & contribute to continuous improvement plan actions
  • Report or present information as per reporting framework

What you'll need to succeed

We're looking for excellent communicators, people who can work collaboratively within an innovative team environment and thrive on seeing others achieve!

  • Experience in coaching, facilitating and team building
  • Ability to build rapport and trust with multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to manage resistance and remain flexible during transition
  • Ability to manage competing tasks and priorities
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office skills
  • Willingness and ability to travel

Desirable but not essential:

  • Qualification in Training and Assessment
