We are seeking an energetic, compassionate and committed person to join our team at Lifestyle Solutions as a Live in Carer for our Family Group Home in Karratha WA.

This role will have you providing 24-hour care and support for up to 4 young people, all with a high level of emotional and behavioural needs. We have a great network of Support Workers, a Support Manager, Senior Manager and After-Hours Support team who are ready to provide around the clock assistance to you in order to address the developmental needs of the young people in the home.

As no one day is the same, you will enjoy the diversity of tasks this role has to offer. Your key responsibilities as Live in Carer will encompass the majority of household functions including cleaning, washing, meal preparation, transporting to and from the home to various social and community activities.

As the successful candidate you will have:

• Demonstrated extensive experience working with children, particularly those with trauma based behavioural needs
• Experience working in a therapeutic environment
• A current Driver's Licence
• First Aid Certificate
• Working with Children Check & CPFS Clearance (or willing to obtain)

Our Family Group Home is in a family friendly area of Karratha and in close proximity to shopping centres, schools and parks. The Family Group Home provides a comfortable living environment for both the Live-in Carers and the young people we support.
