About the Role

Bindi Enterprises is an innovative social enterprise providing supported employment and training opportunities for people with disability.

This is an exciting and busy role with lots of variety! You will be supporting two fantastic teams; Disability Services and Bindi Enterprises. 

In this role your day-to-day activities could include:

  • Maintain knowledge of artist’s work, artist’s stories
  • Greet art gallery customers and manage sales and transactions
  • Manage handling of freight of art sales to customers
  • Maintenance of display material and price list
  • Attend to all phone, email and face to face queries in a courteous and helpful manner
  • Complete meeting minutes, filing, stationary re-stocking and invoicing
  • Process maintenance and repair request for properties and fleet cars

About You

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Experience using Microsoft Office suite
  • Personal integrity and respect for confidential information
  • Be proactive and take initiative while being organised and methodical in your approach
  • Ability to work independently and within a small cohesive team
  • Excellent time management skills
  • An awareness and understanding of cultural protocols for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people
  • Sensitivity and awareness of working with people who have a disability
