Lifestart is a not-for-profit organisation providing quality specialised supports to children and young people living with disability or developmental delay and their families/carers. We are passionate about and committed to our vision, that all children and young people are able to participate inclusively and meaningfully in their community.
#SpeakUP is a new innovative program which supports young people with a disability aged 7-14 years to feel more positive about school, more confident to speak up about their choices and to have greater participation at school. The program is also targeted at parents/carers to increase their skills and knowledge in supporting the self-advocacy skills of their young person. The program will be delivered online across NSW to students with disabilities attending mainstream schools.
You will work collaboratively with the Manager, Inclusion Services to help develop and implement the #SpeakUP program strategy, project work plans and other relevant material to ensure the program meets its deliverables. We are seeking a dynamic person who is able to work autonomously and as part of a team, capable of prioritising tasks and effectively monitor project outcomes through data collection and reporting.
To succeed in this role, you will have a high level of energy, enthusiasm and a genuine commitment to achieving positive results. This is a contracted position to June 2022 on a full-time basis.
