About the Role:

The Manager, Strategic Projects is a critical role within the Marketing and Fundraising team at Lifeline Australia delivering high impact, integrated campaigns and fundraising opportunities, leveraging and maximising the potential of existing and new partnerships to grow revenue.

This role will be based from Sydney CBD office and is a 12-month fixed term contract till January 2022.

Key to success in this role is the activation of Lifeline’s newest strategic partnerships –to maximise revenue outcomes from these relationships, integrating them across the business whilst building engagement and loyalty to Lifeline.

The role is a key driver for delivering successful partner campaigns and collaborating with others in the Marketing and Fundraising team to increase brand awareness and ensure continued revenue growth.

The role collaborates closely with the Partnerships and Community Fundraising Manager, the Partnerships and Marketing teams as well as external agencies and stakeholder partners to ensure flawless, on-time, and high impact delivery of partner campaigns and fundraising opportunities. This role requires a candidate comfortable driving strategic campaign development as well as managing tactical day-to-day campaign deliverables.

About You

  • You must have a minimum five years demonstrated experience leading national consumer facing multi-channel and multi-stakeholder campaigns for a national brand – either agency side or in-house.
  • Deep knowledge and experience of Social Media and Digital Marketing with a strong understanding of digital fundraising strategies and tactics.
  • Highly innovative, entrepreneurial and collaborative
  • Be creative from an idea perspective, with an ability and track record for translating ideas into action.
  • Have the ability to deliver high quality work, quickly, in a dynamic organisation under time pressure
  • Have experience in pitching to and maintaining relationships with senior level decision makers within large corporates
  • Effective collaboration with cross functional teams and project management skills that drive the successful implementation of projects
  • Have excellent negotiation, persuasion and interpersonal skills
  • Be highly organised with the ability to prioritise, manage multiple tasks and work under pressure
  • Have highly developed critical thinking, research and analytical skills
  • Have a mature & charismatic personality possessing the style, stature, leadership and diplomacy required to work effectively with senior staff, leadership volunteers and high value supporters.
  • Be self-motivated and self-managing
  • Have excellent attention to detail
  • Be well organised and process-oriented
  • Have a high level of energy, initiative and creativity
  • Have a high competency in using excel and Salesforce or a similar CRM
