Are you interested in managing a group of dedicated volunteers who provide support for people caring for loved ones at the end of life?

We are looking for a person with great communication skills and a background in counselling/psychology/social work/health or behavioural sciences and/or supporting/mentoring/training people in difficult situations who will take the lead of our group of LifeCircle Guides.

LifeCircle is a national social enterprise, not for profit organisation whose purpose is to support caregivers in their role of providing care and support for a loved one who is elderly and frail or approaching the end of life for other reasons.

By providing information and resources through our website, ​www.lifecircle.org.au​ as well as offering direct conversations with our volunteer LifeCircle Guides, we help families and caregivers understand the caring role, communicate with their loved one and advocate for them so they can be better prepared and supported, make the right decisions for their circumstances, and to be able to make the most of their time they have with their loved ones.

As well as supporting carers in the community, we directly help organisations to improve both their customer & employees readiness to engage in the topic through training and development programs.

We are seeking to enhance the experience of our guides and strengthen the consistency and quality of the support provided by them, as well as increasing our capacity, as our corporate partners in aged care, insurance and financial services begin to refer families and customers to LifeCircle.

As the Guide Practice Manager, you will have responsibility for the recruitment, development, management, and leadership of the LifeCircle Guides to ensure the delivery of high quality support to those caring for a loved one at the end of life.

You will also work alongside the guides by providing support to caregivers.

The position is part-time with flexible hours and will be based in Sydney. The initial contract will be for a period of 6 months with a view to a permanent role for the right candidate.
