Job descriptionJob offering $120-130/Billable hour + GST + Workcover insurance NDIS registered company Inter-therapist resource sharing Frameworks and templates provided Assistance with meeting NDIS Capability framework Clinical Autonomy Supervision Participants provided Work from home office + Claim travel up to 30 minutes each way The role Requirements: 2+ years’ experience Relevant qualifications + additional training in behaviorism e.g. Mandt, ABA Strong independent drive Demonstrated knowledge, skills and experience in behaviour management, including developing and implementing behaviour support plans Knowledge of the NDIS Quality and Safeguards commissions requirements around restrictive practices Experience in providing training of behaviour management strategies Ability to form relationships and work with individuals, families, carers, staff and others Drivers licence, Car, Laptop, Phone required (by commencement date) ABN + Professional indemnity and liability insurance (by commencement date) Time commitments: Minimum: 16-22 billable hours a week x 46 weeks a year 1-3 hours of supervision for the continued development of junior behaviour support specialists, every 6 weeks. 1 hour of peer-based supervision every 6-8 weeks + additional external supervision as needed Active engagement in team meetings once a month via video chat and team outings once every 2 months Standards Commitment to prepare for NDIS audits with guidance Commitment to engage in relevant professional development opportunities that align with the Capability framework Active participation in the development of clinical practice, documents and strategies Values Must have a human rights framework Must have a strong passion for bettering the lives of people with a disability and those who support them Must work within a positive behaviour support approach (as opposed to a punishment-based approach) Must actively aim to reduce restrictive practices Job Details Seniority Level: Mid-Senior level Industry: Individual & Family Services NDIS Disability Employment Type: Contract
