LHA works with legislators, policymakers and service providers to help them understand and address the needs of LGBTIQ+ people and communities. We support LHA members to have a stronger policy voice and partner with researchers across the country on issues of LGBTIQ+ health and wellbeing.

About The Role

The Director Mental Health and Suicide Prevention is responsible for the successful high-level management of LGBTIQ+ Health Australia’s (LHA) mental health and suicide prevention programs. As a peak body, LHA is not a direct service or program provider. LHA works with partners across Australia to deliver programs and initiatives with LHA providing high level national coordination.
