This role reports to the CEO and is part of the LV Leadership Team.

This role

The Leadership Program Manager will be a strategic and collaborative leader, thinker and contributor. This role leads the Programs Team who are collectively responsible for the design, delivery and project management of LV’s open enrolment programs and customised programs.

In addition to staff leadership, the role is responsible for supporting the operations and logistics to deliver programs, coaching, mentoring, events and stakeholder management of contracts. As such you will have experience and expertise around project management and the ability balance multiple simultaneous contracts with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Management and Leadership

  • Contribute to the formation and implementation of the Strategic Plan and associated business and workplans.
  • Provide clear, relevant and timely reports as scheduled to the CEO and Board.
  • Work collaboratively with LV staff to achieve synergy of work efforts and timely and sustainable outcomes on projects and ongoing operations.
  • Mentor and supervise direct reports, ensuring the structure, roles and functions reflect the organisational priorities and result in higher performance and delivery of LV’s vision.
  • Use whole of organisation and system lens to identify what is needed and how the Program’s Team can be responsive and support LV’s work.

Contract Management and Stakeholder Management

  • Effectively manage external contracts with contractors (facilitators) and organisations to deliver LV’s programs and events.
  • Provide input into contract development to maximise efficiencies in the delivery of programs and events.
  • Relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills, including demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining relationships with customers and partners.

Operations and Project Management

  • Ensure systems and processes are established, implemented and maintained for program delivery activity and cross team project management.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously including those relating to evaluation, IT software implementation and recruitment into competitive entry leadership programs.
  • Manage all the financial aspects of your business unit including annual budgeting, cost control and reporting to ensure all budgetary & qualitative KPI's are achieved and upheld.

The skills, experience and qualification you bring will include:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field
  • Exceptional project management skills including planning, and systems implementation skills
  • Strong written and high oral communication skills along with experience stakeholder engagement and management
  • Experience in the following or similar software applications will be highly regarded- Wrike, Hub Spot, Award Force and Moodle.

Terms and Conditions

This is a 4 days per week role, 12mth fixed term contract.

In addition to standard annual leave provisions, Leadership Victoria provides 3 ‘Grace and favour’ days which are to be taken in the week in which the Christmas/Boxing Day public holidays fall.

LV is committed to providing flexibility and balance for our entire team.

There will occasionally be a requirement to attend activities outside of normal business hours.

Employment terms and conditions will be consistent with the Fair work Act and set out in a contract of employment. Annual salary will reflect individual skills and experience.
