At the Lost Dogs’ Home we rely on our passionate and dedicated volunteers to help perform the necessary tasks to support the smooth running of the Lost Dogs’ Home. Volunteers are important members of the Lost Dogs’ home community, and we are very excited to be able offer volunteer opportunities once again.
We are currently looking for volunteers to assist our Facilities Manager with the general upkeep of the grounds and to undertake preventative maintenance tasks at our shelter in North Melbourne. We are flexible to accommodate preferences, if you have a strength in maintenance or gardening, please specify which area you would most like to assist in and we would be happy to accept your application.
Please note that the minimum commitment required for this volunteer role is 1 x 3- 4 hour shift per week.
Due to the popularity of our volunteer program we cannot guarantee that all candidates will be offered a volunteering opportunity. If you miss out this time we encourage you to apply again in future as more opportunities become available.
