We are looking for a passionate Mental Health Clinician or Counsellor who is looking to grow and further develop their career with an organisation dedicated to giving back to those within its community.

As a Mental Health Clinician or Counsellor you will work with the multidisciplinary team at headspace to create a safe and welcoming environment for young people accessing the service. You will provide evidenced based interventions and you will be an important point of contact for young people at the centre making them feel welcome and supported.

To be successful, you will require to fulfil the following requirements;

  • Tertiary qualification in a health profession/discipline including but not limited to social work, psychology or counselling
  • A Working With Children Check will be required for this role
  • Current Victorian Drivers Licence
  • Ability to travel across the service delivery area; including satellite sites when required
  • Latrobe Community Health Service complies with infectious disease control and immunisation requirements under legislation. This position is classified as a Health Care Worker B. Evidence of immunisation history must be provided prior to confirmed appointment.
