Interprofessional Student Education Facilitator - Morwell / Moe

Latrobe Community Health Service

Located in Morwell and Moe, Permanent Part Time

At Latrobe Community Health Service you’ll be part of a positive and passionate workplace. We’re dedicated to providing you with opportunities for career acceleration, through work that is rewarding and meaningful within the community.

Your capabilities will be pushed and developed, providing constant intellectual stimulation, professional learning and personal growth. You will also be challenged as the demands of the organisation evolve.

Do you love mentoring and working with students across health disciplines? Can you contribute to the interprofessional learning of students and health care practitioners? Are you great at engaging students and educating in a range of health professions? If so, this is the role for you.

In this role, you will be responsible for the development and delivery of a range of supervised student clinics and workshops with the aim to prepare these students for “real life” clinical situations.

The role is based across our modern Morwell and Moe sites and is required two days per week. You will join a supportive team and work in an environment where no two days are the same. Training will be provided to the successful candidate.

To be suitable for the role, you will have:

  • Tertiary qualification in allied health, nursing, social welfare or related health care discipline or equivalent
  • Experience in co-delivering workshops for students in a multidisciplinary health care environment
  • Willingness to complete basic workplace training
