The Financial Counsellors aim is to assist, develop, and implement strategies for individual and household financial management for people affected by gambling harm within the Gippsland area. You will facilitate client appointments with Video Conferencing and Telephone counselling sessions with clients. Some travel into Gippsland is also required. This position will work closely with and facilitate referral pathways to the Regional Gambler’s Help Service which includes Problem Gambling Counselling and other relevant services and programs.

To be successful, you will require;

  • Diploma of Community Services Financial Counselling and five years relevant work experience
  • Current Accredited Membership with Financial and Consumers Rights Council of Victoria or equivalent
  • Current Victorian drivers licence
  • A current Working with Children Check
