We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced Seniors and Disability Program Officer to join our Community Services team to cover a period of maternity leave.

About the Role

You will be responsible for developing and implementing activities and programs that support the goals of Lane Cove's Age-Friendly strategy and Disability Inclusion Plan.

About You

We are seeking a qualified and experienced community worker with a range of skills and experience. The successful candidate will have:

  • Qualifications in a Human Services field;
  • Experience working with people with disability and older people in a community setting;
  • Available to work Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and available to attend a drama program on Wednesday evenings (until 8:15pm) during school term;
  • Willingness to provide coverage at the Youth Centre as required;
  • Willingness to obtain a Police Check before employment;
  • Willingness to obtain a current ‘Paid Worker - Working with Children Check' clearance, obtained from the NSW Commission for Children and Young People.

Salary range - between $1,164.50 to $1,281.00 per week (pro rata) + superannuation (dependent on the skills, qualifications and relevant experience of the suitable candidate).
