CASACV is a dynamic organisation offering a suite of specialist services to clients and community across the central Victoria region. We provide 24-hour crisis care support, therapeutic counselling, early intervention, professional education and training, and research. We provide outreach services across the Loddon region including specialist services at Tarrengower Prison.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced person to join the Centre Against Sexual Assault Central Victoria (CASACV) within the Intake and Counselling Team to provide early clinical intervention responses and therapeutic counselling. To be an initial contact for clients and professionals, seeking advice, information, and service support. And conduct triage, intake, screening, assessment, information and referral functions.
You will hold a tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Family Therapy, Counselling or related discipline and have an understanding of the gendered nature of violence and impacts of trauma across the life course. You will have a sound understanding of the complexities of the service system, and a demonstrated ability to provide therapeutic services including clinical and risk assessment, therapeutic interventions and advocacy. You possess exceptional professionalism, accountability and communication including the ability liaise with a range of stakeholders; working collaboratively to make quality decisions.
