The Group Worker is responsible for organising and facilitating therapeutic and recreational or educational groups for children (0-12 years) and parents who have experienced homelessness or family violence. The purpose of child-centred group work is to provide opportunities for children to learn, play and connect with peers. Parent-focused group work aims to capacity-build with parents and promote caregiving skills and parent-child connection.

The Group Worker develops ongoing relationships with external stakeholders such as other community services and government organisations to promote awareness and understanding of the needs of children and young people who have experienced homelessness or family violence. You will also have:
