The Katherine Women’s Crisis Centre (KWCC) is passionate and focused, working to support and maximise the safety of women and their children experiencing domestic, family and sexual violence in the greater Katherine region. KWCC team consistently work together, to create an environment conducive to healing.
As an Outreach Case Worker, you will be required to provide information, education, advocacy, referral and case management support to male members of families who identify themselves as perpetrators or victims of domestic and family violence.
The role requires you to be resilient, practice non-judgement, have awareness of collusion, maintain curiosity and above all prioritize the safety of those experiencing violence.
This is a male-specific role because of cultural sensitivities within the community.
