Are you looking for a role that can support our Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander families and make a difference in their lives? This role supports our families by providing leadership and management to the staff in our youth and family support programs. Our programs are targeted specifically to the Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander community to provide support and assistance that is culturally safe and responsive, reflects community and family strengths, local needs, leadership, and cultural knowledge.

Kurbingui Youth Development Ltd is a not-for-profit Aboriginal community-controlled organisation that offers support to around 13,600 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people – approximately seven percent of Queensland's Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander population – living in the Greater Brisbane, Moreton Bay and South East regions. Kurbingui has a sound established and maintained footprint throughout the regions which began in 2001. Kurbingui currently delivers various community services covering areas such as employment and training, family support, domestic and family violence, alcohol and substance abuse, cultural education and engagement programs, education support for families and children from preschool to tertiary, recreation and sports, early years, youth, women's and men's programs and cultural group activities, and health and nutrition.
The Program Manager Family & Youth portfolio's role is responsible for the leadership and management of program establishment, service delivery, staff support, monitoring, review and reporting in relation to all youth and family programs for Kurbingui. This position will ensure quality culturally safe services are delivered in accordance with all contractual agreements and be responsible for the management of the service delivery teams in accordance with policies, procedures of the organisation, HSQF standards, and all relevant legislation.
This full time position offers a competitive remuneration package in line with the 'Fisher' & '316 Regulation' pay scale and Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award 2010.
