KU Village Green Children's Centre, is a 47 place long day care centre located in Bella Vista.

KU Village Green specialise in relationships and attachment and believe strong, secure and consistent relationships equip children with a sense of belonging, purpose and self-worth.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Director with a completed teaching degree to lead the team at KU Village Green.

You will have sound pedagogical knowledge and the ability to communicate and engage with children, families, the local community, and the team of educators.

This permanent, full time position will see you working 8 hours per day, Monday to Friday and accrue one monthly RDO.

Essential Criteria:

  • Work rights to enable you to work in Australia
  • A current NSW Working with Children Check
  • Previous Directing Experience
  • A recognised Early Childhood Teaching degree level of qualification in Early Childhood or similar as approved by Australian Children’s Education and Quality Authority (ACECQA)
  • Teacher Accreditation through NESA
  • Completed training in Child Protection legislation and its implications for the care and protection of children
  • A current First Aid certificate as approved by ACECQA along with current separate approved Asthma and Anaphylaxis Management certificates
  • Sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law (2010) and the Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011)
  • Working knowledge of the Early Years Learning Frameworks (EYLF)
  • Professional level of written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid computer literacy skills as you would be required to work with financial systems
