About the job...

KWY are currently seeking a Family Practitioner

The Family Practitioner is responsible for the implementation and support of families providing intensive and therapeutic support, advocacy, and information.

The Family Practitioner will work within a multidisciplinary team and provide clinical expertise for families who are experiencing domestic and family violence and other child protection issues.

The Family Practitioner is a highly experienced and competent worker with experience in complex case management. The Practitioner will deliver dedicated clinical and cultural service. The worker is responsible for contributing to improvements in the quality, safety and community needs-driven distribution of services that meet the needs of Aboriginal families.

The position is located in metropolitan Adelaide.

About you...

The successful applicant will possess skills, experience and knowledge in working with Aboriginal people to address Child Protection and Domestic and Family Violence concerns. The KWY Family Practitioner will operate within a therapeutic, trauma informed framework. The applicant would have demonstrated knowledge of case management and working with Aboriginal families

About the pay...

  • Position is classified Level 4.1 – 4.4 under the SCHCADS award;
  • Salary range is $72,362 - $77,859 plus 9.5% superannuation;
  • In addition, as a registered Not for Profit/Charity, we offer excellent salary packaging options through CBB which can significantly increase your take home pay.
