Opportunity

In the past three years, Knoxbrooke has undergone significant transformation to secure its reputation as a respected NDIS provider. We have grown substantially – in terms of services offered, participants supported, our reach in to West Gippsland, and the number of social enterprises that offer opportunities to people with disabilities. As we develop and implement our next three year strategic plan we are seeking expressions of interest from talented individuals who care about the disability sector, and are passionate about creating opportunities for people of all abilities to lead meaningful lives.

You will be an engaged individual looking to bring your expertise in business, governance and strategy together with your commitment to empowering some of our most vulnerable. Recruitment of Non-Executive Directors is selective and competitive. We are seeking new Non-Executive Directors with expertise in one or more of the following areas:

  • Accounting and Finance
  • Law
  • Risk

Additional information

  • Non-Executive Director tenure is 3 years
  • Board meets bi-monthly, 6 times a year with additional subcommittee commitments
  • Position is voluntary and non-remunerated. Reimbursement for out-of-pocket costs and travel is available
  • Applicants with lived experience of disability are encouraged to apply
  • Position is subject to a satisfactory NDIS Worker Screening Check, Banned Directors Check and two referees
