Practice Coordinator

We are seeking a Practice Coordinator to support the work of our Education and Communities consulting practices. You will support Knowledge Society’s consultants and associates in our Subiaco office by creating a supportive environment in which the office space is functional and maintained, and the work output is outstanding. Your work will primarily focus on office management and supporting the team with design and production of deliverables.

This is the chance to be a vital member of a dynamic consulting practice, located centrally in Subiaco. The role would suit a candidate who is seeking an administration role in a varied and stimulating environment.

Full time – 5 days per week (37.5 hrs/wk); fixed term contract 12 months with the possibility of extension.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Provide coordination and logistical support for key Knowledge Society initiatives, meetings and events
  • Support colleagues in production of materials for workshops, proposals, etc and preparation of deliverables such as reports
  • Support the purchase and set up of all technology and software investments
  • Maintain and administer Knowledge Society software and platforms
  • Support Knowledge Society social media and marketing activities
  • Order stationery and kitchen supplies
  • Taking minutes at team meetings
  • Arrange travel and coordinate associated activities
  • Arrange processing of invoices and preparation of expense claims
  • Coordinate building maintenance and repairs including maintenance of office equipment

selection criteria (ESSENTIAL)

  • 2+ years experience supporting a busy and hard working team
  • Formal qualification in marketing, graphic design or communications
  • Experience in designing high quality visual materials, e.g. slide decks, publications
  • Excellent administration skills; ability to work across a range of platforms and software
  • Excellent organisational skills, ability to manage multiple competing priorities and work with a sense of urgency when required
  • Strong initiative and ability to self-direct task management as needed
  • Good writing skills and confident verbal communication

Salary

$55,000 annually (plus superannuation)
