Kids Under Cover is a not-for-profit organisation leading the way in youth homelessness prevention in Australia. Our life changing program combines stable and secure studio accommodation with education scholarships, preventing youth homelessness and helping young people thrive.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Executive Assistant on a permanent part-time basis (0.8 - Monday to Thursday).

Located in Richmond, the EA will provide efficient, professional and confidential executive support to the CEO and COO to ensure excellence in service delivery across the organisation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Confidential executive support to the CEO and COO acting on their behalf where appropriate.
• Managing the CEO and COO calendars and scheduling meetings (including booking meeting rooms, arranging video conferencing, preparing catering).
• Travel, accommodation and event bookings.
• Taking minutes at fortnightly management meetings and bi-monthly board meetings.
• Preparation of board and committee papers.
• Creating and formatting documents and presentations.
• Ensure systems and processes are efficient and records are kept up-to-date.
• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Coordinate internal IT requirements (including attending regular meetings with third party suppliers, arranging and setting up new equipment)
• Ad hoc project support.

KEY SELECTION CRITERIA

• Demonstrated experience in a similar position (minimum 2 years).
• Proven ability to multi-task and prioritise.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Well-developed organisational and time management skills.
• A keen eye for detail
• Advanced MS Office skills with exceptional document formatting skills.
