We are looking for Full time, Part time and Casual Early Childhood Educators to join our Kyabram team.

We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic Educators to join our engaged team. At KCLC Early Learning our Educators are focused on providing exceptional services and outcomes for the children within our Kyabram Community.

We are looking for people who share a passion for early childhood education and have proven experience supporting an engaged play based culture. The role will require people who are focused and able to work within tight time frames and enjoy working towards a shared goal.

ROLE OF OUR EDUCATORS

The role of our Educators is primarily to support the children and families within our centre. Working in collaboration with the teacher, the diploma educator is actively involved in the provision of the child focused program within an environment that supports children’s development and well-being, and respond to their individual needs.

Our Educators are responsive to the needs of the children within our communities, providing a safe and engaged environment for all and develop a life long love of learning for all children in our care.

SELECTION CRITERIA

• Commitment and understanding to the values of the KCLC.
• Commitment and understanding of KCLC Philosophy of education and care.
• Ability to work in a connected team environment.
• A sound understanding and knowledge of early childhood development and education.
• The ability to develop, document and implement a developmentally appropriate education program for preschool children with parental involvement.
• The ability to plan, work and manage time effectively without direct supervision.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate effectively with the Committee of Management, parents, KCLC team members, other staff and professionals.
• Demonstrated ability to present written documentation in a clear, concise and methodical manner.
• Well-developed leadership and self-motivation skills.
• A commitment to maintaining a thorough understanding of the Frameworks and to use them in all planning and implementation.
• A sound understanding and knowledge of early childhood development, which includes a working knowledge of the NQF, the VEYLDF or the EYLF or a commitment to learn about them.
• An ability to ensure confidentiality of information.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for applicants who hold a Diploma or Certificate III in Early Childhood Education with relevant industry experience.
