The Intake and Assessment team is responsible for providing a single point of entry for information, assessment and referral to Kyabra services and external services.

The Coordinator works within the Intake and Assessment team with the core focus on general enquiries, supported accommodation and homestay; and support in other areas of intake as required.

This is an additional new role within the team and supports the Manager in the operations of the team including the day to day running and support of staff. In addition, the Coordinator is required to be responsible for some specialist knowledge in one or more of the following areas; NDIS, housing and homelessness (essential), mental health, child protection, and community finance. This role requires being available for an after-hours on-call roster.

A Bachelor degree in Social Work or similar is an essential requirement for this position.

Salary and conditions are in accordance with the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Award, Level 5. We also offer salary packaging to permanent employees. We offer a family friendly work environment and a range of practice and professional development opportunities.
