Karla Kuliny Aboriginal Corporation is a proud Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisation (ACCO) operating on Whadjuk Noongar country in Boorloo (Perth). Registered under ORIC, our mission is to transform support and service delivery for First Nations children, young people, families, and communities. Our work is grounded in culturally strong, trauma-informed, and strengths-based approaches that address the multi-layered challenges affecting First Nations children, young people and families, specifically in child protection, out-of-home care, and youth justice.
The Naala Djookan Healing Centre, funded by the Western Australian Department of Communities, is the first suburban-based Family and Domestic Violence (FDV) hub in WA. Operating within a consortium of ten local service organisations, the Centre offers integrated, evidence-based support, including advocacy, counselling, legal assistance, and community education.
With a flexible, client-led approach, the Centre prioritises the safety, recovery, and empowerment of women, children, and non-offending family members impacted by family and domestic violence. Led by the City of Stirling, its partners include Karla Kuliny Aboriginal Corporation, Legal Aid WA, MercyCare, and other key organisations.
We respectfully acknowledge the Whadjuk People of the Noongar Nation as the traditional custodians of this land, and we honour all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
