About the role

The Practice Advisor is primarily a modelling, coaching and mentoring role, providing support to all disability day service practitioners in order to enhance and improve the quality of service delivered by genU staff.

The aim of the role is to model and coach Person Centred Active Support and Positive Behaviour Support. The secondary aim is to coordinate orientation of new staff.

This is a full time permanent role based in Geelong.

About You

• Certificate IV in Disability (or equivalent/above)
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent)
• Significant experience delivering services in the disability industry
• Strong understanding of and demonstrated ability to provide person centred active support.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver positive behaviour support to people with disabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to lead team members and experience in coaching and mentoring other staff
