About the Role

Reporting to General Manager – Individual Support Services (ISS), the Operations Manager will shape and implement strategic opportunities and partnerships to ensure a high-quality individualised support service through the Geelong region. This role will oversee a medium office-based team and a large remote workforce in community-based disability and aged care services, providing leadership that reinforces our continuous commitment to our values.

Some of the main responsibilities in this role:

  • Provide leadership direction and assistance to team members.
  • Build strong network across the business: Develop and maintain partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve key objectives within the scope of the role
  • Quality assurance: Ensuring ongoing compliance to NDIS practise standards and aged care quality standards
  • Monitor service delivery standards assessing the quality of client service outcomes, potential risks and complaints management
  • Support setting targets and budgets for the team and monitor, report on tracking against targets monthly

Qualifications and experience needed:

  • Minimum Advanced Diploma in Community Services or other qualification and substantial experience relevant to the field of human services
  • Leadership experience – ideally managing teams
  • Analytical skills along with a positive attitude and the ability to problem solve
  • Comprehensive knowledge of delivering services to people living with a disability, older Victorians and people living with mental health issues.
