Your role:

This position supports the Digital Marketing team with a focus on social media. The employee will work with the Executive Manager, Digital and Marketing and the Digital Marketing team to expand opportunities for revenue and create innovative social media and email marketing campaigns across current platforms and identify opportunities to expand our membership base. This role will also assist with the administrative tasks within the Digital Marketing team.

What this means for you

  • Salary based on experience and qualifications between $68,000-$73,000 + superannuation
  • 1-year part-time contract at 2 or 3 days a week
  • Additional gifted leave between Christmas and New Year
  • Optional flexible working arrangements and WFH

What will you be doing?

  • Create marketing and social media campaigns and strategies, including budget planning, content ideation, and implementation schedules.
  • Ensure brand consistency in marketing and social media messages by working to integrate advertising, product development, and brand management.
  • Develop social media implementation strategy building on best practices and strategies.
  • Collect customer data and analyse interactions and visits, plus use this information to create comprehensive reports and improve future marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • Report progress to the Executive team on a monthly basis.
  • Research and monitor activity of company competitors.
  • Create and distribute engaging written or graphic content in the form of e-newsletters, web page and blog content, or social media messages
  • Grow Karabena Group and F1000DA database
  • Support the Digital Team as needed
  • Administration support for the Digital team when needed, this may include: meeting minutes, info inbox support, customer support.
  • Proactively contribute to Karabena Group strategy and projects and look for and assist with any growth opportunities.

About you

  • 2 years of experience working in digital marketing
  • Experience running social media campaigns
  • Strong creative and content production skills
  • Experience with major social media platforms
  • Experience in producing reports for management
  • Solid knowledge and experience of Facebook Ads manager
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to work autonomously and self-motivated
  • Team player who is willing to jump in to help other members of the team
  • Experience with Canva is desirable
