JustSociale (www.justsociale.org), Australia’s first federal NGO dedicated to promoting online human rights, is seeking a socially savvy Communications Manager who can hit the ground running and generate significant national media coverage.

This role is a part time contract position, and would be working closely with CEO Sarah Josephine Liberty who has 15 years’ experience working in senior Communications and Executive Management roles in NGOs in Sydney, London, New York, Paris & Jogjakarta. Sarah is also a part time radio presenter, DJ and Podcaster.

The ideal candidate will be a media gun who has national media contacts, experience working in the non-profit sector or on charitable campaigns, a keen interest in online trends and a dedication to social justice.

This role would ideally see the candidate working daily (for several hours of their choice), and in the JustSociale office weekly for days of their choice. JustSociale shares a highly creative office space in Darlinghurst with a leading digital agency, which is exciting and inspiring to work from.

Since officially launching in August, JustSociale & Sarah Liberty have been featured heavily in the media - including online, radio, social media and TV, and the candidate we are seeking will continue the momentum we have gained.
