Specialist Family Violence Case Manager

Juno Services

This ongoing, full-time position offers flexible working arrangements, an attractive total remuneration package with access to salary packaging (PBI) and an opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of women and non-binary people.

About Juno

Juno works with women (trans and cisgender) and non-binary people in Melbourne’s northern suburbs who are experiencing homelessness, family violence, or economic insecurity.

Our work is led by frameworks of feminist, intersectional, and politicised trauma informed practice. Our approach to support is non-judgemental, evidence-based, and person-centred.

We recognise the many ways women and non-binary people can be marginalised and the cumulative effects that multiple forms of discrimination can have. We speak out and amplify the voices of our participants to increase awareness of the challenges they face, the support required and to advocate for change to the systems and structures that hold them back.

Juno is committed to ensuring that our team is reflective of the diverse community we serve and to supporting a culture of equity, inclusion, and diversity. We strongly encourage applications from people of all ages, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, women (trans and cisgender) and non-binary people, people with culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, people with disability, and LGBTIQA+ communities.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Working with a team of committed professionals you will be responsible for providing family violence case management to women, non-binary people, and their children, who are experiencing family violence and its related impacts, including housing instability. You will also support the local housing access points, and the Juno housing team, to respond to family violence through secondary consultation, co-case management, and training.
