The Role:

The Junction Works is offering an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about all things administration to join our team as a Trainee Admin Assistant. This full time role will see you working alongside the Shared Services team at The Junction Works.

Some of your key areas of involvement will include (but will not be limited to):

  • Provide high level administrative support to all areas of the shared services team including Finance, People and Culture, Assets & Maintenance and IT
  • Build strong, professional relationships with all staff across the organisation including participants
  • Provide relief to reception for breaks and periods of leave throughout the year
  • General office administration duties including the preparation of materials for interviews, training and/or meetings; Filing and scanning; Data entry

Our Ideal Candidate Possesses:

To be successful in this role you will be a vivacious and energetic professional with strong verbal and written communication skills. You will be reliable, friendly and open to helping out all areas of the business as required.

You will require the following:

  • Willingness to undertake a qualification in business administration as part of the traineeship
  • Strong written/verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage time to meet deadlines while ensuring the quality of work is maintained
  • Proven ability to work both autonomously and in a team environment
  • Be eager to learn and willing to take on additional and challenging tasks
  • Experience in a customer service/retail role highly regarded
  • An open and creative mindset – new and innovative ideas are encouraged

This role is Monday - Friday, 8:30 - 4:30pm, based at our head office in Austral.
