Working primarily with children and adults with a disability, our vibrant, expanding therapy team comprises occupational therapists, speech pathologists, behaviour support practitioners and psychologists.

The Role:

The Junction Works is offering an exciting opportunity for a qualified and passionate Speech Pathologist to join us on a full-time basis (part time may be considered).

Some of your key duties will include (but will not be limited to):

  • Ensure service delivery models are based on current evidence based practice, and are delivered within resources and hours presented within participants individual plan
  • Demonstrate proficient assessment and measurement skills, including collection of client information and selection of appropriate assessment tools
  • Ensure that organisational benchmarks are met in accordance with customer expectations and participant caseload allocation
  • Develop therapeutic relationships with NDIS participants and their families
  • Acting as a specialist resource to management on all matters pertaining to the provision of NDIS Speech Pathology services within the organisation

To be successful in this role you will be a driven and energetic professional with strong verbal and written communication skills, and be able to demonstrate your skills and experience as a Speech Pathologist in a multidisciplinary team. You will be a motivated, passionate professional, who thrives on supporting adults, children and their families in our local community.

You will require the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in Speech Pathology or equivalent qualification
  • Certified Practicing Member of Speech Pathology Australia
  • Commitment to providing quality services and care to children and adults with a disability
  • Experience in the assessment, planning and monitoring of interventions in the areas of communication, mealtime management and eating
  • Current First Aid certificate, Working with Children Check NSW Driver’s Licence and own car (car allowance paid)
  • Minimum 6 months experience preferred
  • Open and creative mindset – new and innovative ideas are encouraged
  • Strong organisation skills and an enthusiasm to be part of a professional team
