In this new position to Junction, the Community Resilience Officer will assist in identifying, developing and implementing non-clinical community-based supports on Kangaroo Island.
The role which is supported by County South Australia Primary Health Network (Country SA PHN) will have a strong focus on community engagement and connection with a focus to unite community members to community-run services. The Community Resilience Officer will strive to strengthen community resilience, wellbeing and healing following the recent devastating fires. The role will assist in supporting community members with the related issues/stressors that come during and after a significant emergency event.
