Navigator is a program funded by state government which aims to support disengaged learners aged 12 to 17 years old to re-engage with an education or training pathway.
The program works closely with families and schools and uses assertive outreach, case management and restorative practice to re-engage children back into learning pathways.
Jesuit Social Services is delivering Navigator in the Brimbank Melton area in partnership with the Victorian Aboriginal Child Care Agency and will be working closely with local schools and services and the regional Department of Education and Training office.
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced and qualified individual to take on a case work role with this initiative.
The role will be responsible for engaging young people and their families in time-limited interventions with pathways onto case management, Active Hold or community based options as required.

The Navigator Brimbank Melton team will be based in Sunshine, with capacity to hot desk across sites.
A base salary of $74,179 per annum, plus superannuation and salary packaging is offered, together with ongoing professional and career development.
