About the program

The Fundraising team is responsible for engaging with new and existing stakeholders to generate independent income to support the strategic direction of the organisation.

The Strategic Communications team works closely with Policy department to join participant voice, practice wisdom and policy advocacy to raise public awareness of the challenges faced by our participants and the changes needed at a government level to improve outcomes for the whole community.

About the role

We currently have a rewarding opportunity in our dynamic fundraising team. Reporting into the Fundraising Manager, the role has is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to build successful and lasting relationships that drive revenue growth. This includes trusts, foundations and bequest prospects.

This is a part-time (0.5 EFT) role based in our Richmond office.

Candidate Requirements

This role will suit a candidate with the following skills and experience:

• Developing and delivering a strategic Trusts and Foundations program to achieve revenue targets
• Manage and deliver strong relationships with existing Trusts/Foundations and PAFs.
• Actively seek out and build relationships with new philanthropic Trusts/ Foundations, PAFs and wealth management advisors.
• Ability to use clear and concise language to develop grant applications and targeted communication and marketing materials, with strong attention to detail.
• Demonstrated experience identifying bequest prospects and nurturing relationships.
• Creative, energetic and sympathetic to the mission and ethos of Jesuit Social Services
