About the program

The Fundraising team is responsible for engaging with new and existing stakeholders to generate independent income to support the strategic direction of the organisation.

About the role

Jesuit Social Services seeks an enthusiastic and energetic Fundraising Officer to maintain the donor database and support a range of fundraising activities across the organisation.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the gift processing and administration, as well as providing support for event registrations, and data queries, with a scope to improving procedures and processes.

This is a part time role (0.6 EFT) for 6 months.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, you will need to be able to work remotely until we can resume regular office routines, from our Central Office location in Richmond.

Candidate Requirements

This role will suit a candidate with the following skills and experience:

  • Proven experience to manage a supporter database (preferably eTapestry or Raiser’s Edge) and running reports, with prior experience working for a not for profit organisation (highly regarded)
  • Experience querying and providing data on excel spreadsheets
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills, including the capacity to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Creative, energetic and sympathetic to the mission and ethos of Jesuit Social Services
