About the program

Business Support is responsible for financial administration, human resources and operations of Jesuit Social Services and is located at Central Office.

About the role

During a time of rapid growth and change, we are seeking an experienced go-getter to assist the Operations Manager with a broad range of tasks and projects across the property and fleet portfolios. While the role is based in Richmond, it will involve frequent travel to other Jesuit Social Services sites across the metro region.

Attractive salary and salary packaging is offered together with ongoing professional and career development. This part time (0.8FTE) position will be employed on an initial 6 month contract with the possibility of further extension.

Candidate Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in facilities, property or operations activities
  • A basic knowledge of, and common-sense approach to, a range of maintenance issues
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to set priorities and manage multiple deadlines while maintaining an exacting attention to detail
  • Ability to manage small projects, take responsibility for tasks and see them through to completion
  • Sound written and verbal communication skills and a commitment to pro-active customer service
  • Sound computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office Programs (e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Capacity to fulfil reporting and administrative requirements associated with the position
  • Understanding and sympathy with the mission and ethos of Jesuit Social Services
  • Current driver’s licence
  • Valid Working with Children Check card
  • Successful Police Check to be conducted by Jesuit Social Services prior to commencement.
