About the program

The Community Justice portfolio includes the Youth Justice Group Conferencing Program and a range of initiatives that uses Restorative Practice to repair relationships that have been damaged between individuals, families, groups and communities in a diversity of settings.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Coordinator, who will be responsible for the day to day operations, promotion, review and delivery of Community Justice programs including the Youth Justice Group Conferencing program.

The Coordinator is also responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with diverse stakeholders across a range of sectors and contributing to the broader leadership of the Justice and Crime Prevention portfolio and Jesuit Social Services.

This is a full time role based in Brunswick.

Candidate requirements

This role will suit a candidate with the following skills and experience:

  • Tertiary qualifications and/or relevant experience
  • Demonstrated capacity to manage programs and build collaborative relationships across the sector
  • Leadership skills and develop a small team of staff
  • Superior communication and organisational skills
