About the program

Jesuit Social Services has worked in Western Sydney since 2008. In the past 4 years, we have worked as a part of "Together in Willmot", a place based collective approach towards children starting school well.

The Willmot Community Hub project is an initiative of Jesuit Social Services. It uses a place based/collective impact model. We partner with local residents and over 20 organisations to collectively build a resource in the heart of Willmot.

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to anyone who wants to challenge and extend their skills and work within a collective impact project.

An opportunity to analyse local issues, create awareness and undertake initiatives to support the development and growth of the work of the Together in Willmot Collective and the Willmot Community Hub as a resource to the community

This is a part time position offering an attractive salary plus salary packaging, together with ongoing professional and career development.

Candidate requirements

This role will suit a candidate with the following skills and experience:

  • Demonstrated skills and experience in community development and or community organising
  • Demonstrated skills and experience in project management
  • Demonstrated experience in working collaboratively and creatively with other organisations
  • Experience working with and understanding of the issues impacting on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples
  • Valid Driver's License.
